About Us

From our more than 50 years of combined experience, we understand the physical, emotional and financial challenges that our clients face. After an incident, the insurance adjustor will want to settle as quickly as possible for as little as possible.  Do not make the mistake of settling for a modest amount, before the full extent of your claim is realized.  Many times, the injured do not understand how severe their claims are, how much time away from work they will have to take, or how much money will be necessary for medical care and expenses. To get an honest assessment of your potential claim, call us before you talk to the insurance adjuster.  We offer a free attorney case evaluation.

Michael A. Lewis

Michael Lewis is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He attributes his initial interest in the practice of law to his grandfather, J. Leonard Lewis, who was a prominent civil rights attorney and businessman in Jacksonville, Florida. “Growing up in a family that was entrenched in the business community, helped me get an early start in the world of insurance and business finance. I spent many summers and afternoons after school, working at the Afro-American Life Insurance Company, which was one of the first insurance companies of any kind established in the State of Florida by my great- great grandfather, A.L. Lewis.”

Mr. Lewis received his Political Science degree from Florida State University and his juris doctorate from the University of Florida College of Law. "Prior to my last year in law school, I had the privilege of working at The White House, as an intern during the Jimmy Carter Administration. Following graduation from law school I began my law career under the tutelage of Willie E. Gary. Working alongside Mr. Gary was an incredible opportunity as we tried cases all over the country with many of them resulting in million dollar verdicts. That experience as a law partner at Gary, Williams, Parenti, Finney, Lewis et. al. prepared me for the battles that I relish today in support of my clients as they seek justice against corporate giants, as well as others who have harmed them. Clients only get one shot at seeking the justice that they deserve. It’s our job to see to it that, we have done everything that we can to help them achieve that goal.”

Mr. Lewis has served extensively on numerous boards and committees including Stuart Main Street, Martin County NAACP, Treasure Coast Private Industry Council, Leadership Martin County and the 19TH Circuit Court’s Grievance Committee for the Florida Bar.
